Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. Overview

This policy explains how Alphabet Edd uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on alphabetedd.com.

We keep our use of these technologies to an absolute minimum. This website does not use advertising cookies, does not track visitors across other sites, and does not sell data to third parties.

2. What cookies and local storage are

A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website. It typically contains an identifier that lets the site recognise your browser on a return visit.

Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a website save data on your device. Unlike cookies, local storage is not sent to the server automatically with every request.

Both are used to make websites work and to remember your preferences.

3. What we use

3.1 Essential cookies

These are required for the website to function properly. They cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

Name Purpose Duration
PHPSESSID Session cookie used to protect forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). Required for the hiring brief form to work securely. Session (cleared when you close your browser)

3.2 Local storage

We use your browser's local storage to:

  • Save your hiring brief draft - if you start filling in the hiring brief form and leave the page, your progress is saved locally so you can return and continue. This data never leaves your browser until you submit the form. It is deleted from your browser as soon as you successfully submit.
  • Remember your package of interest - if you click "Choose Momentum" on the Services page, we remember that choice while you fill in the form.

3.3 Analytics

We use Google Search Console to understand how our site appears in Google's search results. Google Search Console:

  • Does not place cookies on your device
  • Does not collect personal data from visitors
  • Provides aggregate search-performance data drawn from Google's own search index

Because it does not set cookies or collect personal data from you, Google Search Console does not require consent under applicable data protection law.

3.4 Third-party resources

Our site loads the following resources from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs). These requests necessarily disclose your IP address to the provider, as with any web request:

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) - for our typography
  • jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) - for the JavaScript libraries that power our page animations
  • flagcdn.com - for the country flags shown in the phone number picker on the hiring brief form

None of these providers set cookies through our site, and none collect personal data from you on our behalf.

4. What we do NOT use

To be completely clear, this website does not use:

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Cross-site tracking pixels (Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, etc.)
  • Behavioural analytics that identify individual visitors (Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, Hotjar, etc.)
  • Third-party data brokers or data enrichment services
  • Social media tracking embeds

5. Managing cookies and local storage

You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Every major browser allows you to:

  • View what cookies and local storage your browser has stored
  • Delete all cookies and local storage for a site or for all sites
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block all third-party cookies

Instructions are available in your browser's help documentation:

If you block essential cookies, the hiring brief form may not work correctly.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the current version. If we add any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and - where required by law - ask for your consent before setting them.

7. Contact
